Talk:anonymity

What do you call one who practices anonymity? Anonymitist? Anonymitarian? Anonymist?
If anyone has an answer, I'd like it soon so I can write my paper. Bob the Wikipedian 16:54, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
- anonytard is derogatory
We didn't mention: levels of anonymity
[edit]- undeclared anonymity: an anonymous work, not signed as "anonymous" nor with any other phrasing
- untrackable anonymity:
- not living behind physical or digital tracks (which are also necessarily physical [shifting physicality is physicality] according to the informational entropy but we write it for the average reader)
- these tracks might lead to their origin/cause
- these tracks might not lead to their origin/cause but might reveal even partially a network (even a fraudulent one, which is causally linked; thus exhibits useful patterns)
- rare: these tracks might not exist at all
- not living behind physical or digital tracks (which are also necessarily physical [shifting physicality is physicality] according to the informational entropy but we write it for the average reader)
There are levels of anonymity (read CIA and police reports)
[edit]Some forms of anonymity reveal extremely many patterns. Thus we necessarily have to be specific because it is important to mention!
