This is a difficult one, since there is so much overlap in meaning with the other sense "in an august or awe-inspiring manner", especially since august can mean nobly-born. I have added a number of cites that associate the term with royalty, or which are clearly not awe-inspiring. Kiwima (talk) 21:40, 21 December 2017 (UTC)
