The french wiktionary article gives a very different view on the etymology of the word aujourd'hui. I am not qualified to change the article as it is, but I would give higher credibility to the french wiktionary page regarding a french word and I think this page's ethymology section should be changed to concord with the french one

The etymology you just saw on aujourd’hui was dubious and had no reference. I have deleted it. Thanks for the information. — TAKASUGI Shinji (talk) 11:28, 10 January 2014 (UTC)
