I believe that "bifteck" is an insulting term a French person would use for a British (or maybe specifically English) person, the same way that "frog" is an insulting term for a French person in Britain. Does this need to be documented or is it out of scope for this article? --WestwoodMatt 18:48, 17 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

It certainly belongs as a sense in the entry if it meets [[Wiktionary:Criteria for inclusion#Attestation]].—msh210 (talk) 18:52, 17 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
I think I had a brainstorm, and I may have been confusing with "rosbif". OTOH I believe I saw "bifteck" being used as a pejorative / ethnic slur recently, just can't remember where. (Getting old.) --WestwoodMatt 11:43, 23 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
