Is there any evidence that this is used aside from a bird in the hand? Maybe it is, but if it is then it would be an ellipsis of a bird in the hand. Like, do people really say "Hey, bird in the hand, man." As opposed to "Hey, a bird in the hand, man."? PseudoSkull (talk) 05:07, 29 October 2022 (UTC)
