Is blew an intransitive or trasitive verb. Please help. Here's the sentence it's used in: A fierce storm blew across the lake.

Blow can be either, which is the case for most English verbs. In this case it's being used intransitively, as there's no direct object. Mglovesfun (talk) 13:31, 28 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
