"(US, Philadelphia) A person from the suburbs who visits the city centre to dine etc." I can find absolutely nothing about this anywhere online. Seems to have been originally created at (deprecated template usage) burbavores, where I see in the history "A term coined in Philadelphia, on Phillyblog.com" — a site that ceased to exist in 2009. - On second thoughts, I've speedily deleted this. From the above, it was clearly an Internet invention (which hasn't lasted at all). Equinox ◑ 23:21, 20 June 2011 (UTC)
