Hello, a nice spanish expression[edit]
(which could be found in the first pages of « La casa de los espiritus » de I. Allende) is : « las calderas de Pero Botero » used as a periphrasis for « hell ».
In spanish pero means also : a drawback. And botero brings back to botar (dump away) - & through botero to a black pouch carrier – or to the grim ferryman of hell...
