RFV (sense) removed[edit]

The meaning To cross out something with lines etc. was questioned. The request was cancelled - since this is the primary meaning of the original word, and still in use now, see all dictionaries. —Saltmarsh 11:58, 10 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Noun computing[edit]

Should the meaning noun, computing, the button used in conjunction with OK to cancel a choice (or however it should be formulated) be included? It would allow us to put other translations, e.g. french annuler (noun) — Hrcolyer 12:37, 16 October 2007 (GMT)

That's not a noun though - it's just a verb form. In English you'd normally interpret it either as a bare infinitive or perhaps as an imperative. Eitehr way it's adequately covered by what we already have. Widsith 13:51, 16 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
