Etymology

"Some sources suggest Ancient Greek κύμβη (kúmbē, “drinking vessel”) as an alternative etymon, but the semantic link is unclear" What's unclear about the link between a bodily receptacle / vessel, and a tomb? Even a body in a burning boat (vessel) would be a well known funeral method in various cultures. Darkmagine (talk) 12:14, 6 November 2023 (UTC)
