RFV sense:

(chiefly UK, informal) An inhabitant of Bedfordshire.

Now this could be correct, since a "clanger" is apparently a type of meat pudding from Bedfordshire [1], so the name could have transferred to the inhabitants, but actually I haven't been able to find any evidence of this use. Mihia (talk) 10:48, 28 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
