Talk:cocaine

A couple of recent anonymous users added "slim" and "spider" as synonyms. "Slim" is possible -- cocaine was once advertised as a means of weight loss. "Spider" is suspect -- the user who added it has been randomly defacing pages, particularly "spider". I've removed both in the absence of convincing attestations. -dmh 18:43, 28 Sep 2004 (UTC)

I've added another synonym, just another spelling of yayo, or perhaps the correct spelling, but I've left both. Snoito 14:33, 23 September 2008 (UTC)

Pronunciation

The relevant entry in the OED ( 1891) gave a three-syllabled pronunciation, /ˈkәʊkeɪˌʌɪn/, as the regular one, and described /kәʊˈkeɪn/ as ‘vulgar’. --Backinstadiums (talk) 19:39, 9 August 2021 (UTC)
