Talk:disconnect
Say, when did disconnect become a noun that made ave folk feel smart when they used it thusly?
Also it seems to be used as a justifiable catch-all excuse for anything:
"I think it's time to end this relationship dear. There is just a disconnect between us lately."
"Why did you quit your job?" "There was a major disconnect with my boss! He expected me to be on time everyday!"
"There just seems to be a disconnect between our rules and our child's behavior."
Its actually NOT SMART cuz people just don't know ACTUAL words to use like disparity, discrepency, problem, rift, breech, etc"
Disconnect is a horrible excuse for a noun. Thank you
