It could be useful to create a list of false friends in various languages. Something like:
- FF / Language / Sounds like / True meaning
- demander French demand ask
- embarazada Spanish embarrassed pregnant
- discusion Spanish discussion argument
- discutir Spanish discuss argue

"one's own language"[edit]
Technically a false friend doesn't have to be a false friend to a word in one's own language, though I'm not sure how to rephrase the definition to clarify this. DAgosta 01:10, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
