The English Usage Notes refer to plural forms for fewer definitions than appear; someone more authoritative than I, or at the very least proficient in finding this information in the edit history, might want to edit these notes so that there is no ambiguity about the number of definitions.
Does this word mean the "cover" for something -- a CD, ID card, badge, mobile-phone -- or am I thinking of a different word? 194.116.199.218 13:17, February 26, 2009
