It's some kind of drink or dessert as well, e.g. McDonald's McFlurry ("a vanilla ice cream dessert that has pieces of candy, fruit or cookies mixed into it"), "hard and soft ice creams, frozen yogurts, flurries, milkshakes" (Snow Queen Leisure World), "I used to freeze root beer and then chip it up and make flurries out of it" (NewBeetle.org).
