Esperanto pronunciation[edit]

Isn't [fɔrno] more likely? [forno] is hard to pronounce. (o is the sound of eau in French). Mglovesfun (talk) 12:58, 21 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

According to the Esperanto phonetics, o is almost always just o. It could also be a different letter some of the time. Let me look into it. Cheers, Razorflame 12:59, 21 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

:Yep, in this case, ɔ is used instead of o. Cheers, Razorflame 13:01, 21 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Got a second opinion from Opiaterein, who said it should be just o. Cheers, Razorflame 13:44, 21 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
Actually what I said was that /o/ and /e/ vary a lot from speaker to speaker, so /ˈforno/ is more neutral. — [ R·I·C ] opiaterein13:49, 21 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
