Possible missing sense[edit]
The HTML 5 spec calls it "fostered content" when an item in the markup is "adopted" by an element other than the one whose markup it appears in (e.g. misplaced text inside a table appearing before the table instead). I don't think this meets CFI at the moment and I haven't seen any other similar figurative use of "foster". Equinox ◑ 15:57, 26 June 2018 (UTC)
