free energy[edit]

I've heard of a definition though in conversation, not in writing, where 'free energy' means unlimited energy that comes from a source that never depletes. So it violates the first law of thermodynamics. Here's an example on YouTube (YouTube isn't durably archived because they regularly delete videos). The title is 'Easy to make free energy, perpetual motion machine using monopole magnet.' I don't think we have this sense. I'm not 100% sure it's citable so I'm not adding it myself.
