Additional definition[edit]

Can it also mean "stone"? 24.29.228.33 06:08, 10 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Possibly, in some contexts anyway, but this is more like a peak or craggy outcrop. There are other words for "stone" as normally used:
1. caregan n.f. (caregos)
2. carreg n.f. (cerrig)
3. maen n.m. (meini)
I think maen (meini) is the one you're looking for. -- Pinkfud 06:14, 10 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

In English[edit]

Kilbride in Ireland was described as a "dry graig", which apparently means "a small settlement where pipe sewerage facilities will be difficult to provide". Equinox 18:59, 23 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
