Talk:holfertite
Hello! This is my first edit as a Wikipedia editor, and I will admit, it was quickly drafted and published ("Discovery" section). I'm still unfamiliar with using the text editor, and just wanted to see how the process works working with other editors. I intend to add more information, but much of what I know on this subject, as well as a few others on the matter of rare or newly discovered minerals, is from in-field, personal experience, and may not be verifiable by literary sources. I'm curious how editors will handle information presented without sources, unless I may consider myself and personal associations as a source. I am hoping to receive some constructive criticism and advice as to how I can better format this article, and see what other editors might contribute. Thank you.
Help with formatting[edit]
I added a new section to the wiki page for Holfertite, but it is my first edit to Wikipedia, and I'm very unfamiliar, despite my best attempt to learn reading through the tutorials. I have a feeling it is something that requires practice, and furthermore, a little bit of direction. I'm very excited to make more contributions, especially on the subjects of rocks and minerals and geology. I just needed to start somewhere. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
