Talk:hydrogeology
Okay, let me start off by saying that the definition given does not really make sense. "Geology of groundwater," just does not make much sense. Water cannot hold the property Geology. It is not a rock. Don't get me wrong I don't know everything, but I am a hydrogeologist. I had update the definition at one point, but then someone decided to replace it with the same one I was trying to update. The book definition of Hydrogeology is "the study of the interrelationships of geologic materials and processes with water, especially ground water." [Applied Hydrogeology 4th Ed., Fetter, C.W. p. 556]
My definition is as follows; "The study of interactions between water and geologic materials."
