Hyphenation[edit]

Shouldn't this word be rather "in-between". I have never seen it as "inbetween" except in Wikipedia articles, which are prone to typos.

Yes. Correct versions are in-between and in between. SemperBlotto 08:44, 22 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Use in animation[edit]

I couldn't quickly determine what Wiktionary's policy towards technical terms is, but 'inbetween' (no hyphen) is a noun/verb used commonly among animators to describe a type of drawing/image or the procedure of creating them for a piece of animation. E.g. 'When I inbetween a scene I have to make inbetweens'. 'Tween' is also used in CG animation, at least as a noun. 111.69.194.137 13:16, 21 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

We've got inbetweening; perhaps we need an entire verb entry here. Equinox 17:17, 21 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
