Woody Allen usage
In his film Love and Death, Allen uses his incorrect faux-French pronunciation IPA(key): /ʒəˈʒuːn/ then immediately says "I am one of the most IPA(key): /ʒuːn/ people I know."
That is clearly the joke, and therefore there is a strong implication that the first use was in fact correct, and he was simply using a rare word -- correctly pronounced -- for its comic effect. So IPA(key): /ʒəˈʒuːn/ has been taken as correct in good faith by many viewers for three decades.
