Exact locations where this is used?[edit]

I’ve heard this word used in Bedworth (Warwickshire), it’s popularity in Derbyshire is well attested and the fact that Alan Moore is quoted saying it means it must be used in Northampton too. It doesn’t seem to be used in Birmingham, Coventry or the rest of Warwickshire and I’m not sure about Leicestershire and the rest of Northamptonshire or other Midlands locations. It’s an ‘entry’ in Coventry (and sometimes Bedworth) and sometimes a ‘gully’ in Birmingham. Overlordnat1 (talk) 00:10, 23 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
