  • Is the term kick start in wide use as a boot disk to start an Amiga Computer? So much so that it belongs in the dictionary as a new term? It seems like a buzz word made up by Amiga for boot disks. I question it's validity. IanLewis 14:13, 8 Sep 2004 (UTC)
 Done Kickstart (Amiga) was a brand name for that computer's bootstrap firmware. It may have been in Wiktionary in 2004 but isn't now. Equinox 07:16, 23 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
