Hebrew origin[edit]

I have changed the meaning of the Hebrew word "מַלְאָךְ" to 'angel'/'God's messenger' rather than just 'messenger'. It technically means 'angelic messenger' but 'angel' would be an overall more accurate translation to convey the right meaning.

By the way I can't find any reference to the name having any Hebrew origin, so not sure where this fact has been picked out from. Firefly 10 09:39, 27 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If this claim cannot be referenced, then it should be discarded from the article. Unsourced etymologies figured out by editors and not supported by sources have no place in the etymology sections. The uſer hight Bogorm converſation 09:46, 27 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
