Mico micare micui, a rare non-standard first declension for Latin, according to my Cassell's and every online source, but I'm not sure how to go about changing this. Icarus' Dream 01:45, 16 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Spanish mico[edit]

Tetelcingo Nahuatl Borrowed from Spanish . Spanish mico From Cumanagoto [Term?] [1]http://talkingdictionary.swarthmore.edu/paez/?initial=m&page=1 (gloss - micu ) a quasi language isolate (Native to Colombia Region Andes ) Whether it is borrowed from Spanish or viceversa? Wikispecies Species (14): M. acariensisM. argentatusM. chrysoleucosM. emiliae etc. are all with "mico" initials, it may be a word existed in the region , and it entered into taxanomy. On swarthmore.edu I see number of glosses borrowed from Spanish yet I can't recall a single animal name borrowing .Flāvidus (talk) 23:34, 30 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
