Edgar Ray Butterworth[edit]

According to Clarence B. Bagley, History of King County Washington, The S.J. Clarke Publishing Company, Chicago-Seattle, 1929, Volume III, p. 781-785, with reference to Edgar Ray Butterworth, in an entry on three members of the Butterworth family: 'it is believed that he was first to introduce the words "mortuary" and "mortician" in connection with the undertaking business.' I have no idea how to put that in the entry, but presume it belongs there in some manner. - Jmabel 22:52, 31 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
