Misspelling?[edit]

¶ Correct me if I am wrong, but surely this is misspelt based on incorrect etymology? The descendants mentioned here do not have the ae digraph or the alpha‐iota digraph. We could mark this in [1], yet I want to see consensus on this. 75.142.190.21 10:02, 14 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]


¶ So I suppose no one is concerned then? Sigh. Well, at least I found this suspicious looking word after morbid curiosity. However, I doubt this will be taken into etymological account; I do not know if the Græco‐Romans ever coined the ‘correct’ prædecessor, or if this is just hypercorrection. --Pilcrow 21:51, 29 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
