Unanimously cf nem con[edit]

The definition needs to be clearer on this.

If a motion is passed nem con (nemine contradicente) it means that nobody voted against the motion; but this is not the same as unanimously.

For a motion to be passed unanimously there can be no abstentions. If nobody votes against a motion but there is one [or more] abstentions, it is passed "nem con", but not unanimously. Penglish (talk) 10:59, 15 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
