Latin etymology[edit]

Isn't the -īscor ending indicative of the passive/deponent form of the inchoative suffix -ēscō, -īscō? Jackwolfroven (talk) 20:06, 18 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

It could very well be, but unless you can find any particular hard evidence (citation) stating with high certainty that e.g. līvor + -īscor is strictly preferred over of levis etymology, we should probably stick with the current etymology. Poponuro (talk) 13:32, 17 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
