pronunciation question: Is the on-erous or own-erous?

Either one. There may be a tendency for British speakers to prefer "own-erous" and American speakers to prefer "on-erous", but it's probably not a strong tendency. I use "own-erous", if your goal in life is to sound like me. :-) Keffy 17:38, 16 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
