Can someone substantiate the "one who ousts" definition with a reference? The history claims it's British English, and as someone who lives in Britain I have never heard it used this way, and can't find a reference for it. Colmlinehan 17:12, 29 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I can't find it either, but searching is hard (e.g. "the ouster of the Moors" turned out to be the action of removing them, not the person who did it). Equinox 03:51, 18 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
