@Leasnam Since your userpage says enm-2... palmer is apparently derived from a Latin word with a long vowel, but I'm not sure if the Middle English -e- here is also long, and if it is, if it would still be a schwa (I think a short e would be a schwa when unstressed, as it is here). @KIeio, I'm not sure, but it looks fine to me for palmer. I believe the word evolved thusly: /pɑlˈmɛːrɛ/ ⇒ /ˈpɑlmerɘ/ ⇒ /ˈpɑːl.mər/ as you have it Leasnam (talk) 02:39, 31 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
