The poohbah spelling is almost the same on Google books, much less common at COCA (US). DCDuring TALK 11:11, 8 November 2009 (UTC)

Many of the hits for spellings with "h" refer specifically to the character, which thereby do not count as references to the term as defined in this entry. I haven't taken the time to count or sample count the relative frequencies at COCA. This gives a reasonable estimate of frequency in the US. We should check at google news and google books too.
