Proposal 1[edit]

I'd like to propose something like:

Propaganda - any type of communication ultimately directed to a large public, whose message seeks a reaction, in terms of opinion or behavior, according to one's interests, cause or ideas. --20:49, 28 August 2006 User:212.151.237.42

Proposal 2[edit]

I'd like be more specific, though I am not sure how to word it.

'Propaganda Media' used in war/conflict/ which is meant to build or destroy confidence.

'Propaganda' in a true form is an outright lie. --10:09, 19 February 2008 User:123.2.75.194

Definition[edit]

No Def Note
1 Speech or writing advancing one's cause or ideas, or denouncing one's opponents. Issues: (a) not only speech or writing is propaganda, (b) propaganda is aimed at masses.
2 A concerted set of messages aimed at influencing the opinions or behavior of large numbers of people. Source: Wikipedia. Possible issue: adjectives like "partial" and "biased" may still be missing.
