Mention rescind vs. resend[edit]
I pushed a resend button, because I was looking for a "rescend" button. And didn't notice the missing "c". You see, despite different etymology, due to the influence of ascend and descend, the much less used word rescind, not matter spelling, or pronunciation, became related to the latter two, at least in my mind, causing me to resend an invitation that I intended to rescind!

- I think she is wrong. She doesn't give any IPA notation so we cannot confirm from that blog. Equinox ◑ 16:26, 8 March 2024 (UTC)
