Indentation[edit]

When I first added the Spenser, Tennyson and Pyle quotes, I didn't know how to format things using the text editor because it is my first day trying to edit. I then read the help pages on editing and tried to fix the formatting. In the preview pane my quotes were extending left beyond my citations so I added more colons to create what looked like the correct amount of indentation. When I clicked Save, the result showed too much indentation. When I went back into the editor and tried to remove colons I kept getting error messages so had to give up. Is this how preview normally works (what you see is not what you get when you click Save)? Do I need to compensate for this in the future? How many colons should I add in order for the quoted sentence to indent properly? Learner0625 Learner0625 (talk) 04:07, 4 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

The current indentation is correct. DTLHS (talk) 04:08, 4 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
