German schrammen
[edit]Today, schrammen means
1. to (accidentally) bump into something and then scrape along its surface in one movement.
2. to sustain an injury by the action described under 1. Such a (light) wound is colloquially called "Schramme".
The meaning depart! was (is?) only used in a group of dialects of Thuringia, Germany. (Source: German Dictionary of Jacob & Wilhelm Grimm, online version, [1])
