Flexible phrase[edit]

This is a flexible phrase with countless forms. Chapter 15 of Wayside School Is Falling Down contains the sentence, "Just saying the name sent a shiver of fear through her body", in reference to Mrs. Gorf, the mean teacher from the first Wayside School book.
