Surely the adverb would be single-handedly (He single-handedly crossed the Atlantic) although it does come across rather awkwardly ("He crossed the Atlantic single-handed" sounds better)

When the word the verb, the preferred adverb is singlehanded <she did it singlehanded> --Backinstadiums (talk) 15:54, 15 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
