suitably: 1. appropriately
          2. to an appropriate or the expected extent

Whether a "suitably impressed" person is impressed in the suitable way (i.e. because they ought to be) or to a suitable degree seems rather academic: how could we tell these cases apart? Equinox 11:47, 27 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
