Chronologically impossible[edit]

How can the Sumerians have a word for chocolate? Chocolate is from the new world, and Sumeria disappeared thousands of years before the new world was discovered. —This unsigned comment was added by Tlholley (talkcontribs) at 12:33, 10 May 2009 (UTC).

It must be either a joke entry or a very loose translation, but we need an expert on long-dead languages to know for sure. CAmbrose will be able to reassure us that it is a genuine word, and explain the translation. Perhaps it was a substance similar to chocolate? Dbfirs 16:59, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
