Citation page[edit]

I'm not really sure how to create the citation page and what is the real purpose on the page. If it's about my reference for the entry, my reference is this: J. Noorduyn (1990). Consonant gemination in Buginese. pg 472. KITLV Journal. If someone could help create the citation page, I would be gratefull. I could also use it as my reference in the future. Thanks. The citation page is created like any other page, simply hit the red button, put in the content you wish, and press save (or better yet, hit show preview at least once, then save :-)). However, the citations page is not for references, but rather for examples of usage of the word in some durably archived form (generally printed works, such as books). So, for example, if there was a book written in Buginese, and it used this word, you could take that sentence from the work and put it in the citations page. Your reference is best placed under the "References" header within the entry itself. For more clarification, please see WT:CITE. Hope this helps. -Atelaes λάλει ἐμοί 09:36, 13 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you very much, it helps alot. So far I haven't find any books in Buginese written using roman letters. So far, there's no fixed spelling for romanized Buginese, this one's based on Said(1977:133). Kurniasan 11:21, 13 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, spellings can be fairly variable in languages without a developed literary tradition, especially if they've recently switched scripts. You do realize that Lontara entries are also quite welcome here? I don't know if those would be any more stable or not. -Atelaes λάλει ἐμοί 19:37, 13 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I do create some Lontara entries but I usually create the romanized version first. In the romanized version, I provide a link to the Lontara spelling, most of them I leave it read. Kurniasan 22:22, 13 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
