- From la:wan.guy, which has more information, it appears that the period is a disambiguatory particle (like Catalan ŀl or Breton c'h) used to indicate it's not a digraph—/ŋ/, I'd imagine. —Muke Tever 22:30, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
