  • Isn't wrongfully only to be listed as a derived term? Is wrong an adverb?!

and the answer is: Wrong is an adverb. --Stranger 21:01, 30 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

expressions[edit]

I suggest to include the meaning of expressions like "do (someone) wrong" and "get (someone) wrong", e.g., "don't get me wrong". — This unsigned comment was added by 189.102.25.11 (talk) at 15:57, 2 July 2009 (UTC).[reply]

Usage[edit]

Are you sure the definite article is used more often than indefinite? I would only use the definite article when expressing the idea of the selection of an element from a set with cardinality one. Most of the time, I dial a wrong number. — This unsigned comment was added by 99.183.237.29 (talk) at 00:15, 12 May 2014 (UTC).[reply]

To become displeasing to someone; to do something that provokes someone's anger, contempt, or dismissal: Be sure not to get in wrong with the superintendent—she wields a lot of power in the school district. --Backinstadiums (talk) 22:04, 12 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
