Although occasionally used as a noun in isolation, U:ko:uncommon in isolation is generally encountered as the non-verbal element of the light verb construction U:ko:uncommon in isolation하다 (U:ko:uncommon in isolation-hada). When conveying the noun meaning, the more common form is the verbal noun U:ko:uncommon in isolation함 (U:ko:uncommon in isolation-ham).

Compare with {{ko-root of}}. This template was created because many Korean terms (especially Sino-Korean ones) given as normal nouns in standard dictionaries are not actually very commonly used as independent nouns.
