Usage

This template:

  • is not intended to be invoked directly from entry pages; rather, it is designed to be invoked from {{es-form of (verb)}}.
  • evaluates to a snippet of text like "informal second-person singular future indicative form of", and adds appropriate categories.
  • takes several arguments:
    • {{{tense}}} — should be present, preterite, imperfect, future, or conditional.
    • {{{person}}} — should be first, second, third, or impersonal.
    • {{{number}}} — should be blank if {{{person}}} is impersonal; otherwise, should be singular or plural.
    • {{{formal}}} — if {{{person}}} is second, should be yes (for usted(es)) or no (for tú/vosotr@s); otherwise, should be blank.
    • {{{ending}}} — should be ar, er, or ir.
    • {{{gender}}}, {{{participle}}}, {{{sera}}}, {{{sense}}} — should all be blank.
  • can evaluate to a partial snippet in the event of incomplete information.
  • adds the article to Category:Requests for cleanup (Spanish verb form) if there's any sort of irregularity that a human should look at.
