This template is used to format the lemma forms of Venetian nouns. For plurals, please use {{plural of|lang=vec}}. For invariable nouns, please use {{infl|vec|noun}} or tag manually with [[Category:Venetian nouns]]. This template contains the necessary meta-data to allow users who are using accelerated editing to create any grammatical forms semi-automatically.

Usage[edit]

Parameter Function Default value (if left unspecified)
1 The stem, the noun without the final vowel (usually, o, a or e) none; required
2 The gender. It accepts m, f or mf none; required
3 The final vowel of the singular form none; required
4 The final vowel/letters of the plural form none; required
pl2 Second plural form No default, only used when specified.
pl3 Third plural form No default, only used when specified.
f Feminine form No default, only used when specified. Only works when 2=m
fpl Feminine plural form No default, only used when specified. Only works when 2=m
m Masculine form No default, only used when specified. Only works when 2=f
mpl Masculine plural form No default, only used when specified. Only works when 2=f
head, sg or current The head word, if different from the page name, or to link to individual words {{PAGENAME}}
sort or cat Sort key for Category:Venetian nouns {{PAGENAME}}
